The car you’ve all been waiting for, the Tata Bolt launches today. Check out your Tata Motors showroom to get a glimpse of the car. Now for a short re-cap on what the Tata Bolt has to offer.
The Bolt and Zest are pretty much identical up to the rear doors.
The Bolt comes in five colours – Dune Beige, Platinum Silver, Pristine White, Sky Grey and Venetian Red. Bright and sporty colours, quite suitable for the car I think.
Safety
Tata Bolt top-end variants will receive safety features such as corner stability control, ABS, EBD and dual airbags. New advance 9th generation ABS by Bosch™ for improved braking efficiency and with yet another segment-first, the Corner Stability Control (CSC), adds to the safety features of the vehicle.
Engine
Tata Bolt will be available in Petrol and Diesel. In the petrol, BOLT will be the segment’s first hatch to be powered by the 1.2L turbocharged Multi-point Fuel Injection (MPFi) Petrol Engine, REVOTRON 1.2T, with best-in-class max power of 90 PS and peak torque of 140 Nm. It also features first time ever – MULTI DRIVE: Sport, City, Eco modes, which brings nimble road mannerism to the vehicle. The diesel variant comes with a powerful 75PS engine, delivering 190 Nm of uninterrupted flat torque, for a peppy drive with seamless delivery of power.
Features
Tata Bolt gets projector headlights, electrically-adjustable wing mirrors, Harman infotainment system with 8-speakers and navigation support, Bluetooth connectivity, smartphone integration, voice recognition and much more. Other features include foglights, alloy wheels, rear wiper and washer, central locking, multifunction steering wheel and automatic climate control.
