For some reason, the 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 150 still remains BSIII compliant. If reports on the web are believed that the launch of Pulsar 150 NS by early-2017 has led to devoid the BSIV norms.
However, the new Pulsar 150 is priced at Rs 73,513 (ex-showroom, Delhi) that translates to Rs 800 more expensive than its predecessor.
The changes are purely cosmetic with a matte grey finish for the engine and two new paint schemes – red/black and blue/white with fresh body decals. It gains slight changes to the instrumentation with carbon fibre accents. The backlight colour continues to remains the same with an orange backlit display. The single seat is contoured and gets new material. It also come fitted with tubeless tyres.
Under the skin, the 2017 Pulsar 150 is powered by a 149 cc DTS-i engine that develops 15 BHP and 12 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to 5-speed transmissions, however, as reported above it does not get BSIV compliant engine like other three 2017 Pulsar models. The company too has so far refused to comment on when this update will be introduced.
