In March-2016, the Bajaj Pulsar 150NS was launched in Colombia. Now one of our reader named Esteban Legarda has sent few pictures of the bike at a dealer yard. In Colombia, it is priced at $5,990,000 which roughly translates to Rs. 1.29 lakh.
As reported earlier the Pulsar 150NS built in India at Bajaj’s manufacturing plant in Chakan, near Pune is exported to 8 countries – Thailand, Turkey, Peru, Ecuador, Finland, Mexico, Colombia, United States and some other Latin American markets. Bajaj Auto has already exported 20,000 units of the motorcycle.
The Pulsar 150NS has been caught testing for quite sometime and now we’re looking forward to launch it in the Indian market sometime in the near future. It carries similar styling as the 200 NS but there are some minor tweaks to the design. But it still looks very sporty and aggressive and appeals to the younger generation.
There isn’t any fixed date for the Pulsar 150NS launch in the Indian market, however, the latest reports by the trusted sources reveal that the company has scheduled the launch for September-2016. The Pulsar 150NS will be the third 150cc Pulsar in India, and will be positioned between the old Pulsar 150 and the 150AS.
Officials prices are yet to be announced, we expect the Pulsar 150NS to be priced around Rs. 75,000 (ex-showroom), while the Pulsar 150AS is priced Rs. 78,000 (ex-showroom). In this price range, the Pulsar 150NS will directly compete with the Suzuki Gixxer 155, the Honda CB Hornet 160R and the updated Yamaha FZ-S.
