Readers often enquire about the launch of Bajaj Pulsar 150NS in Indian market. Here home-grown bike maker, Bajaj Auto has been exporting the Pulsar 150NS to 8 countries for quite some time now. Although the Indian customers had been waiting for the model, since past one year.
Reports from the Autocar Professional says that over 20,000 units of the Pulsar 150NS has been already shipped to 8 countries, namely – Thailand, Turkey, Peru, Ecuador, Finland, Mexico, Colombia, United States and some other Latin American markets.
Talking to the publication, Eric Vas, President of Motorcycle Business at Bajaj Auto, confirmed that the production and export operations of the Pulsar 150 NS are on. It is reported that Colombia is the biggest market for the Bajaj Pulsar 150NS. Further he mentioned that Bajaj Auto has not yet decided when to launch the Pulsar 150NS in India.
Refresher: Bajaj Pulsar 150NS is powered by the 149.5 cc air-cooled single-cylinder DTSi engine with Triple-Spark technology. This unit develops 17 hp and 12.9 Nm paired to a 5-speed gearbox. It derives its design from the Pulsar 200 NS, however gets a kick start and drum brakes at rear.
