Today we have some good news for our readers, just a couple of days before we disappointed our readers saying that all new Bajaj Pulsar 200NS production model(image seen above) has been spotted at a Bajaj Auto showroom in New Delhi with some visual changes, including the tank scoop and side panels finished in body colour, rather than matt black finish. Also was the strange fact that the Triple Spark sticker is missing from the engine cover. These changes made the bike a look bland in our opinion too.
While now an leading automobile blog named Motoroids tell, these visual changes seen in a picture above will won’t make it to the production version that goes on-sale by July this year (Huray, huray, huray). But the changes made to the production model are non-visual as we said earlier, including more powerful headlamps, improved cluster lights on instruments for day rising visibility and rear mudguard with matte black finish.
Other rumors in web suggest, that some components of have been added inside the engine to enhance the performance of the engine and also the company might provide buyers an option in terms of tyres with brands like MRF and TVS. Considering even the rumors on internet, suggest all changes are non-visual. Bajaj Auto is doing their level-best to leave no stone unturned and make the Pulsar 200NS a perfect bike with much more than our expectations.
Refresher – Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS will be powered by 200 cc engine, with SOHC 4 valve engine with triple sparks plugs producing 23.17 BHP of peak power at 9500 RPM and 18.3 Nm of peak torque at 8000 RPM, Bajaj claim the Pulsar 200 NS will hit 60 km/h in 3.61 seconds and 100 km/h in just 9.83 seconds. The Pulsar 200 NS is not the fastest Indian with a top speed of 136 km/h. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and the Pulsar 200 NS uses liquid cooling. With the use of lighter components, the Pulsar 200 NS weighs 145 kgs.
