Following the launch of its drop-top sibling, Audi India has launched the 2017 Audi A3 (facelift) sedan in the country. Petrol A3 is priced from Rs 30.5 lakh, while diesel A3 is priced from Rs 32.3 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
The successful model from Audi is now even more attractive: the 2017 Auti A3 (facelift).
The 2017 A3 sedan is available in two engine options – the 2.0-litre 4-cyl TDI engine which produces maximum power of 143hp mated to a 6-Speed S tronic. While the 1.4-litre TFSI COD engine which produces maximum power of 150hp. As with the Cabriolet, here too it is equipped with cylinder-on-demand technology allowing the unit to shut down two of its four cylinders depending on driving conditions and thus improving fuel economy. This unit is paired with a 7-speed automatic gearbox.
The Audi A3 Sedan has a remarkable fuel efficiency of 19.2 kmpl (A3 35 TFSI) and 20.38 kmpl (A3 35 TDI) as per ARAI certification.
The highlight in the interior of the new Audi A3 is the Audi virtual cockpit.
The new A3 sedan borrows design inspiration from the latest Audi A4, featuring optional new full-LED headlamps, Singleframe grille with black plastic slats, new bumper design, and LED taillamps with distinctive outer contours. The front and rear bumpers have also been tweaked, while the tail lights too are revised. The side profile remains identical to the outgoing one, except for a new set of 16-inch 5-spoke alloys.
Standard equipment now includes MMI navigation plus with electrically retractable seven-inch monitor.
The 2017 A3 gets the horizontal illuminated graphics on the taillights and the separation edge above the redesigned diffuser.
