As we reported earlier, the Yamaha MT-15 would debut very soon, but now the Yamaha Motor Company of Thailand has teased the video and has previewed the motorcycle in the private event, ahead of its Indonesian premiere early next-month.
It is now officially confirmed that the MT15 called the Yamaha M-Slaz will be unveiled on December 1, 2015 at the 37th Bangkok International Motor Show. The model will be displayed at the event between December 2 to 13. It will be launched in Thailand first and in Indonesia next, however, the launch in India is unknown at the moment. The M-Slaz is expected to be priced around THB 85,000 (INR 1.58 lakhs).
Yamaha M-Slaz tagline says ‘Slash Your Darkness’. Although the engine details are scarce as of now, it is expected to be share the R15 V2.0’s 150 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine to be the heart. Mated to a 6-speed gearbox, the fuel-injected motor produces 17 PS and 15 Nm of torque on board the R15.
