China is known for breaking and holding on to world records. However, this time it’s not something to be proud of. Local police in China’s Hebei Province came across a small passenger minivan that was designed to transfer up to eight people.
When police pulled over the man, they found the man was carrying a total of 66 people, including 64 children ranging from age four to five years old.
Reports say that the man had stripped the seats from the van and replace them with five rows of wooden benches. Police have arrested the man and transferred the children to ‘safety.’ Chinese media reports that the man will be “punished according to related laws and regulations.”
