Indian taxi driver wins Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 in UAE

An Indian Cab driver has won a 2012 Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 worth USD 245,028 (costs over Rs 3 crore in India) in a lucky draw at the Shopping Mall named Al Jimi Mall in Abu Dhabi. He had spent USD 70(Approx 3,800 INR) at outlets of the mall to qualify for draw.

Mr. Soupi Abdulla, 44, of Kerala owned his first car Lamborghini Gallardo whereas he has an old scooter in his village in India. Soupi Abdulla is working in UAE since 1982 and he drives a Toyota van at an average speed of 80 kph. But Lamborghini Gallardo has a speed up to 323kph.

Gallardo has two doors with a 550 horsepower engine which accelerates the car to 160 kph in just seven seconds and it has a top speed of 323 kph. Lamborghini Gallardo is powered by 5.2-litre V10 engine and has 6 speed automated gear.

Meanwhile, this specific model is said to be 1 out of 250 units worldwide. And keeping the limited cars of this particular model in mind, rich buyers have already crept in with delicious amounts towards Abdullah to buy his ride as he do not intends to ride and maintain it.

At event, Soupi Abdulla said – “I will sell Gallardo to repay a loan that I took to build my family house at my village. My family will use some amount to build more houses for the needy people in the village. I have no plan to change one bedroom flat that I share with my two brothers.”
