Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt. Ltd. (TKM) recently recorded its one millionth vehicle sale through its authorized dealer, Nippon Toyota in Cochin. The one millionth car- a Toyota Etios was handed over to a customer during a ceremony held to celebrate the one millionth sale.
Addressing the occasion, Mr. N. Raja, Senior Vice President, TKM said, “The sale of Toyota’s one millionth car in India marks a very important milestone for us. Since its inception, Toyota has been present in the MPV/SUV segment in India and we have been market leaders ever since in these segments. It is only in 2011 that we forayed into the mass segment with the Etios & Liva and still have been able to realize this milestone in such a short duration.
