Zac Mihajlovic is a 29-year-old guy living in South West Sydney, Australia. He accepts that he has always been an avid movie fan. He states that he has always felt that the coolest vehicle was the one owned by Batman. Desire to own one himself drove Mihajlovic to create a street legal, life size Batmobile. He built this automobile along with his grandfather, John Greene, in his garage. It took both of them about two years to create this amazing vehicle. After a time of hard labor, Mihajlovic is now a proud owner of the world only Batmobile. He has even received the street registration for his awesome car.
Street-legal Batmobile designed by Batman fan
This Batmobile has been designed similar to the one used in the 1989 movie. The length of the car is about 6.2 meters. Though the project was complete by the year 2011, the registration took time and was finalized in December 2013. Before Mihajlovic’s Batmobile received its number plate, viewers though it was bogus and that the car was a plastic prop designed to attract attention. However, it now appears that Mihajlovic is crowded by fans whenever he steps out.
Zac Mihajlovic started working on his Batmobile in the year 2009. He bought spare parts that have been actually used in the Batmobile from the 1989 flick. Zac put away these parts and did not start working on his venture until he got in contact with Warner Brothers Australia to gather information whether he will be able to avail license and if he will encounter any issues for creating his own Batmobile. When Zac received a nod from the movie company, he started the work along with his grandfather who is a retired mechanical engineer. Their hard work paid off well. Surely, both of them are very happy and content with the final product.
