The British supercar, painted in the traditional Dubai police colours of green and white, will probably attract more onlookers than criminals. Dubbed a “Super Patrol Car,” the MP4-12C comes equipped with advanced devices, computers, cameras and specialised number plates, bearing the number plate 2020 to express its happiness of Dubai being selected as the host for World Expo 2020.

Under the hood, the MP4-12C has a twin-turbo 3.8-liter V8 engine that develops 625 Bhp and 600 Nm of torque. It enables the coupe to accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 3.3 seconds and hit a top speed of 329 kmph. The 2013 edition of McLaren MP4-12C comes with a cool price tag of around $239,400 (INR 1,48,81,100 approx.).

The McLaren MP4-12C has been in production since 2011 and it’s currently being assembled in Woking, Surrey, England. The recent addition brings the number of top of the range sports cars run by Dubai Police to 13.
