Yesterday we showed you secret leaked video of the 2012 Toyota Camry and today someone has released a picture from a brochure of the 2012 Camry, giving us a clearer picture of the USA’s bestselling car. In India, it is expected that the 2012 Toyota Camry would be displayed at Auto Expo 2012 in New Delhi which will be held in month of January next year.
2012 Camry looks sportier than the outgoing model and the car will be slightly larger dimensionally. Redesigned front styling heavily possess with a more Japanese flavour. The headlights are stretched back to the wheel arches which add a sense of width, and there is a strong kink on the headlight. The grille comprises a single dual chrome horizontal slats with a larger Toyota logo, and some Lexus-like cues are apparent in the styling too. The bumpers get a more aggressive stance with a taller but narrower air dam and a more pronounced chin.
New Camry expected to continue with the existing 2.5-litre petrol engine with the possibility of a 3.5-litre V6 mated to six-speed manual or automatic transmission. An all-new interior is also on the cards. Will the new Camry take the fight to the likes of Skoda’s Superb, VW’s Passat and Honda’s Accord in the entry level luxury car segment? Do let us know.
