Rolls-Royce may build a SUV and model above the Phantom

2013 Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe

There are speculations by Inside Line that the Rolls-Royce is looking into offering an SUV in its lineup, but customers are not interested in a super-SUV. However, if the company offers one and they actually like it, the “Spirit of Ecstasy” could sell like a hot cake.

Harald Kreuger, recently appointed board member to the Rolls-Royce brand, has apparently indicated that the brand is looking for ways to expand line-up beyond the Phantom and Ghost.

What we know for sure is that Rolls-Royce is working on a convertible and coupe version of the Ghost. Inside Line speculated that the company is also working on low-volume limited editions such as the Phantom Coupe Aviator recently unveiled at Pebble Beach.
