Nissan India has brought in their Sunny XV D Special Edition sedan well in time for the upcoming Diwali season with enhanced features and this model has been priced at Rs. 9.86 lakh, which is around Rs. 56,000 more than the regular XV diesel model. In February-2013, the company had launched Special Edition of same model for specified period.
The new features in this festive Special Edition of Nissan Sunny XV Diesel variant includes premium leather seats, reverse parking sensors, chrome finish exhaust and rear spoiler. According to rumors the Sunny XV D Special Edition also gets 2-DIN Touch screen entertainment console, Bluetooth and other additional features.
This special edition Sunny is only available in diesel XV variant. It gets the same 1.5-litre K9K diesel engine that churns out a maximum power output of 86PS and 200Nm of top torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, which transmits power to front wheels of the car. The Sunny diesel variants can deliver an ARAI certified mileage of 21.64 kmpl that is ideal both for city and countryside roads.
