Today’s Times of India Newspaper edition features a printed ad of a special edition Nissan Sunny, this makes us believe that Nissan India has silently launched a special edition of Nissan Sunny C-segment sedan in Indian market and already started taking bookings for the car. This Special Edition version of the Sunny is available with petrol and turbo diesel engine options.

The Sunny is already one of the most comfortable cars of its segment, now this special edition gets even more luxurious with some additional features including the 2-DIN Touch Screen Entertainment Console, Rear Spoiler with Chrome Plated Trunk Garnish, Leather Seats and Rear Parking Camera. Besides these, the Sunny Special Edition has a black dashboard panel, beige upholstery and door pads and silver trim on centre console and door handles.

The Special Edition is offered in both petrol as well as diesel engine options. Under the hood are the same 1.5-litre petrol and the 1.5-litre diesel engine performing duties. The diesel engined Sunny delivers an ARAI certified mileage of 21.64 kmpl.

According to the folks at AutoCarIndia, Nissan has announced prices of the special edition Sunny petrol XV at Rs 8.60 lakh (ex-showroom, Thane) and the diesel XV at Rs 9.68 lakh (ex-showroom, Thane). The special edition Sunny will hit showrooms across-India by February 12.
