Facelifted Suzuki Swift along with ‘DJE’ technology launched in Japan

Suzuki is working hard in introducing new updates for its range of vehicles globally. Suzuki had revealed 5-door version of Swift Sport, 4×4 version of Swift and also the facelifted Swift in the UK market, less than a month ago. Now Suzuki has introduced the facelifted Swift in the Japanese market which also comes with a DJE technology.

The Suzuki facelift launched in Japan is featured with a dual jet engine (DJE) technology which combines regenerative braking mechanism and an idling stop system to the 1.2-liter K Series engine, in turn increasing the fuel efficiency to provide 26.4 kmpl of gasoline. In addition to this, Suzuki has also introduced dedicated display to judge the degree of eco friendly driving on the facelifted Swift. Apart from this, the facelifted Swift also features LED day time running lights in the front bumper integrated to the fog lamp housing, high mounted LED stop light at the rear and much more features in the list already seen in our previous posts related to the facelifted version of Swift launched in the UK market, couple of weeks ago.

In the Japanese market, Suzuki Swift facelift is available in seven variants i,e  XG-DJE, XL-DJE, XS-DJE, XG, XL, special edition Swift RS, and XS which are in turn available with an option of  5-speed MT, CVT, 2WD and 4WD. The facelifted Swift is priced between 1,279,950 yen (7.54 lakh INR) and 1,787,100 yen (10.54 lakh INR).
