The Japanese automaker Suzuki has launched the all new 5-door version of the Suzuki Sport in United Kingdom (UK). Swift Sport was only available as a 3-door version till date and was priced at £13,749 (12.3 lakh INR approx). The Swift Sport recently launched would be more practical because of 5 doors in place of 3.
The 5-door version of Swift Sport would feature sporty fog lamps, auto air conditioning, cruise control, push button start, HID projector head lamps with headlamp wash, Bluetooth connectivity, sporty bumpers, twin exhaust pipes, bigger alloy wheels, sport seats, rear privacy glass and steering wheel all of which was already seen in the 3-door version of Swift Sport launched in 2012. In addition to this, the 2013 5-door Swift Sport would also have driver’s window ‘auto up’ feature and LED high mounted brake lamps.
Coming to the technical specifications, the Suzuki Swift Sport is featured with a 1.6-litre petrol engine which produces a maximum power of 134Bhp at a maximum torque of 160Nm which is mated by a 6 speed manual transmission. The Swift Sport’s engine offers power combined with low emissions and provides a mileage of 15 kmpl. The 5-door version of Swift Sport is priced at £14,249 (12.7 lakh INR approx) in UK, which is £500 (44,675 INR) more than the 3-door model.
