The next-gen range of Bajaj Pulsar is on the works. Bajaj is looking on upgrading the entire range of Pulsars from its line-up. Among the range, the 150, 180 and the 220 seem obvious ones to undergo a change, given that Bajaj has not changed their design for more than a decade.
As reported, the company is on the verge of launching the Pulsar 150 UG5 soon. This gives us the hint that numerous models from the Pulsar range are due for a change. On one hand, we can expect it to be attractive and on the other hand, it may also lose out some factors.
One of them will be the emission of the current 2-valve DTSi motor. It will be replaced by a 4-valve, fuel-injected engine which is on the works. This new engine platform will comply to the tightening emissions norms and will range from 150cc to 250cc.
We can expect them to arrive sometime in 2019 to be the earliest. There is a big possibility of the inclusion of ABS in the entire Pulsar range, which at current, is present only on the the RS200 and NS160. The next-gen will feature a monoshock suspension, which will replace the current Swingarm one.
