Couple of weeks back, the 2020 Hyundai ix25 (2020 Hyundai Creta) made a surprise debut at 2019 Auto Shanghai Show. Now the compact SUV has been spotted testing completely undisguised on South Korean roads. In China, the next-gen ix25 is likely to go on-sale in the second half of this-year.
The second-generation Hyundai ix25 takes a solid inspiration from the flagship Hyundai Palisade. With a full model change, the new iX25 departs away from its balanced and symmetric body lines and adopts a completely new look. The side profile is the only angle from where the Hyundai ix25 is still recognisable.
The interior of the next-gen Hyundai ix25 will be entirely new with a very minimalist approach and the main highlight would be the luxury vehicle-like exceptionally large floating portrait infotainment system display merged with a floor console into a single panel, the horizontal central air vents and the uncluttered dashboard.
In India, the new iX25 could be sold as the new 2020 Hyundai Creta. It could be launched in second half of 2020. It is likely come with the same all-new 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines as the facelifted Hyundai Verna (TBA) and the Hyundai Venue’s 1.0-litre T-GDI petrol engine.
