Tata Motors will be rolling out their much-awaited mid-size SUV, the Harrier in January-2019. The homegrown automaker has reportedly opened bookings for the mid-size SUV across the country. The company has started accepting Rs. 30,000 as booking amount in order to book the vehicle at authorised dealership or on tataharrier.com

Recently, the production-ready picture of Tata Harrier leaked online by Team-BHP forum member BipB. The automaker is likely to reveal the car to the media next-month, trusted source claims. The company has confirmed the OTR prices of the mid-size SUV are likely to be priced in the range from INR 16-21 lakh.
As far as its design is concerned, the Harrier will be based on Tata Motors ‘Impact Design 2.0’ theme. This design will later on be present on the upcoming 45X premium hatch and a new sedan. The Harrier will be coming with a host of features and safety when launched.
Engine-wise, the Harrier will be having a 2.0-litre Kryotec petrol engine. This engine will produce about 140 BHP of power and 300 Nm of torque. It will come mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox, with a Hyundai-sourced 6-speed automatic transmission being available as an option.
Deliveries are expected to take place by the end of January next-year. The Tata Harrier will have its rivals in the form of the Jeep Compass, Hyundai Creta and the upcoming Maruti Suzuki Vitara, Kia Trazor and MG Motor ZS.
