In a bid to stay strong for next-year, when its both head-rivals Hyundai Verna and Honda City are going to get updated, the home-grown carmaker plans on launching the updated Ciaz in order to keep the momentum running.

The changes of the Ciaz facelift are purely cosmetic and would get more creases on the body panels with added decals. Headlamps and tail-lamps are also expected to get a minor tweaks. Power-train are expected to be untouched with 1.3-litre diesel and 1.4-litre petrol engine options. It is also rumored to get a new naturally aspirated 1.5-litre M15 engine churning around 100 BHP.
