In first-half of 2015, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) discontinued the sales of the regular 150cc CB Unicorn. Even after it was discontinued after the introduction of the CB Unicorn 160, there was repeated customer interest in the older motorcycle.
Responding to the customer demand now the company has silently re-introduced the Honda Unicorn 150 in the Indian market, yet again. Only one variant priced at Rs. 69,305 (ex-showroom, Delhi) is on offer, it will be sold alongside the existing CB Hornet 160R and CB Unicorn 160. However, the CB Trigger 160 has been discontinued from the market being not able to obtain the required decent sales.
Powering the CB Unicorn 150 is a 149 cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 13.14 BHP at 8,500 rpm and peak torque of 12.84 Nm at 5,500 rpm paired to a 5-speed gearbox. It can sprint from 0-60 KMPH in 5.0 seconds and can touch a top-speed of 101 KMPH, yet deliver a decent mileage of 50 KMPL. A total of 2 shades are on offer – Pearl Igneous Black and Pearl Siena Red.
