A special edition of the Bajaj Pulsar 150 was recently spotted at an unknown dealership. This will be a cosmetic update of the motorcycle and is expected to be launched this month. To clear all doubts, this will not be the ABS-equipped version of the Pulsar 150 and it does not carry that feature in it.
Instead, this will be a special edition of the motorcycle which will be sold in limited numbers. The ABS version of the Pulsar 150 is scheduled for launch in early-2019. Coming to the motorcycle, the special edition will be featuring a couple of changes in design.
These include an all-black colour scheme without any decals or stickers, red accents on the alloys, headlamp and the fuel tank, and the ‘Pulsar’ and ‘150’ logos being given the red treatment. Mechanically, the special edition Pulsar 150 will not be having any changes in its engine output. It will come powered by the same 149cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine.
This engine can deliver 14 bhp of power along with 13.4 Nm of torque. It will come mated to a 5-speed gearbox. We can expect the prices of the special edition Pulsar 150 to be in the same range as of the existing model.
It is not clear whether other models from the Pulsar line-up, notably the 180 and 220F, will be getting their special edition models. We also do not know about whether the special edition Pulsars will be available in any other colour options. One thing we can expect to happen is some good demand for the special edition Pulsar.
