Based on the Vespa VXL, Piaggio India has also launched the 70th Anniversary edition in the country at a price of Rs. 96,500 (ex-showroom Pune).
Vespa VXL 70th Anniversary Edition in India is limited to 500 units
The 70th Anniversary edition pays tribute to 70 years of the Vespa brand. Limited to only 500 units, the limited edition comes in an exclusive Azurro 70 colour, and features brown leather seats with white stitching, grey alloy wheels and embossed 70th Anniversary logo. Accessories like fly screen, chrome rear carrier and chrome perimeter guard are offered as standard on the new scooter.
Total power output is rated at 11.4 BHP and 11.5 Nm of torque. Powered by a fuel-injected 125cc 3-Valve single-cylinder engine coupled to a CVT transmission. Stopping power comes courtesy of 140 mm rear drum brake while the up front, a 200 mm disc brake is featured.
