Two Fully Faired Pulsars to be launched by Bajaj Auto in 2013

Bajaj Auto which is one of the largest manufacturers of motor cycle in the Indian market had achieved a new milestone i,e Bajaj Pulsars official Facebook page had crossed 1 million fans,  a couple of months ago.  Now Bajaj Auto officially confirms that it will launch two fully faired versions of the Pulsar by October, this year. As per the reports, Mr. Rajiv Bajaj, MD, Bajaj Auto, said “Pulsar is number one sports bike in its category in India and we will launch two super sports bikes under this brand by the middle of this financial year”. The Company is doing so in order to increase the slight reduction of sales in the Indian market.

Rajiv Bajaj also states that “the upcoming Pulsar will be the first super sports bike made by an Indian 2-wheeler company and will recalibrate the sports bike segment. It will be an all-new Pulsar”.  The fairing would include adding weights to the motorcycle and giving better aerodynamics at higher speeds. Already information regarding one of the upcoming fully faired bikes has already been obtained and is none other than the all new Bajaj Pulsar 375 which would share its components with the KTM Duke 390.

The other fully faired bike could be either 180 or 200 cc Pulsar which would be priced at around 1.1 Lakh INR. The upcoming Bajaj Pulsar 375 would produce a maximum power of 40 BHP at a maximum torque of 32 Nm and is also expected to be priced at around 1.5 Lakhs INR.
