News has come that TVS Motor Company has added two new colour options on its entry level motorcycle, the TVS Radeon 110. Launched in August 2018, the TVS Radeon 110 has achieved the feat of three lakh units sold in a span of 25 months. The Radeon hasin many ways been the mainstay of TVS in rural markets. In fact, it is the cheapest motorcycle available from the brand in present times.
Thus, the base variants of the TVS Radeon 110 will be retailing at a price of Rs.59,942 (ex-showroom, New Delhi). On the other hand, the COTY variants be available with a price range between Rs. 62,942 and Rs. 65,942. The Radeon 110 will not be having any sort of mechanical updates to go with the addition of colour options.
It will employ the 109.7cc, air-cooled motor which comes with fuel-injection. This motor was recently updated to the BS-VI emission norms and produces outputs of 8.2 BHP power along with 8.7 Nm torque. It comes mated to a 4-speed gearbox.
The TVS Radeon 110 comes with features such as chrome bezel headlamps with DRL, wireless charging spot, disc brakes and chrome metal exhaust. It rivals the likes of the Hero Splendor, Bajaj Platina 100 ES and the Honda CD 100 Dream DX in the entry level commuter motorcycle segment.
The addition of two new shades on the TVS Radeon 110 does increase its appeal and it remains to be seen whether the motorcycle can continue its strong run in the market.
