As already read by our dear readers couple of days ago in our previous posts at BharathAutos, TVS-BMW Alliance has already started importing parts for their new motorcycle codenamed ‘K03’. Reports also suggest that the parts for newly developed 300cc motorcycle codenamed as ‘K03’ for the Indian as well as global markets has been imported from Italy for R&D purpose.

Along with the parts, TVS also has imported completely built BMW Motorrad prototype motorcycle along with chassis and prototype exhaust systemswhich is again for R&D purpose. As per the reports obtained from Shifting Gears, below are the details of the import carried out by TVS.
- (FOC) 1XMOTORCYCLE (PROTOTYP MOTORRAD) MOTORCYCLE INCL. MOTOR FOR R&D PURPOSE IN TVS MOTOR COMPANY. TEST SAMPLE FOR STYL
- FOC) 1 X ROLLING CHASSIS (PROTOTYP MOTORRAD) MOTORCYCLE CHASSIS WITHOUT FUNCTION FOR R&D PURPOSE in TVS Motor Company
- ROLLING CHASSIS (PROTOTYP MOTORRAD) MOTORCYCLE CHASSIS WITHOUTFUNCTION FOR R&D PURPOSE in TVS Motor Company.
TVS has already started developing the new motorcycles using the prototypes obtained from Italy for R&D purpose. These new motorcycles from TVS-BMW Motorrad alliance will soon be spotted testing in the Indian roads as the development is on schedule and we expect TVS-BMW Alliance could make their world debut at the upcoming EICMA motorcycle show in October this year. Furthermore, TVS-BMW Motorrad alliance would develop at least 3 variants based on the new platform which includes a sports bike, street-fighter and also an adventure tourer for both Indian and global market.
