Toyota Kirloskar Motors has officially confirmed that the Liva hatch (Etios Hatch) to be launched in India during the last week of June as per schedule.
We reported earlier due to natural disaster in Japan that the company has decided to launch the Etios hatch in Mid-2012, now the company re-confirmed it will be launched the car as per schedule.
The Etios Liva will be powered by a 1.2-liter petrol engine at its debut. While no official details have been released about the power of the engine, it’s expected to be in the region of 75bhp. The petrol car will be followed by its 1.4-liter diesel cousin (same as the Corolla Altis) sometime in December. Toyota has announced the full-fledged production of all the cars.
