And here she is, just few days ahead of the public debut in Goa – a couple of official photos have surfaced of the Tata Zica. Viewed head-on, we’re greeted by the familiar Tata’s new signature smiling honeycomb-grille with a ‘Humanity Line’ that runs into the car’s smoked head-lamps and features a Tata logo at the centre.
Officially, only exterior design images of the Zica hatchback have been released, but automotive website Autos Arena & Powerdrift, has managed to procure some spyshots of the Zica’s interior. The dashboard design is clearly a big departure from the Indica eV2, adopting a more mature and upmarket layout as seen on the latest Maruti S-Cross and Mahindra TUV300.
We also get a look inside the cabin – from the looks of it, the change are substantial. The Zica gets a dual tone (black-and-beige) interior with piano black, silver and chrome inserts at various places. The 3-spoke, short-diameter multifunction steering wheel, gear knob and 2-DIN infotainment system appear to be lifted from the Bolt/Zest.
Other features on the Zica include air-conditioning, power windows and electrically operated ORVMs.
