The new Tata Zica will be launched on the Indian car market sometime next-month, and the first examples have arrived at a dealer yard in Mangalore.
The Zica can be considered as a favorite of Tata Motors as they hired the football legend, Lionel Messi for its advertisement and promotion. The best part is that the Zica is considered as a global product, thereby providing better quality than many of the current day Tata cars.
At launch, the Zica will be available with two engine options: an 84 hp 1.2-litre Revotron petrol and a 67 hp 1.05-litre Revotorq diesel. Both engines will be mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, though an AMT technology will be introduced later stage.
The Zica adopts an all-new Tata design philosophy that looks modern, young and stylish. Although based on the older Indica platform, it has been rigorously modified for better stability and strength.
The company will showcase a sportier version of the Zica with a bodykit called ‘Zica Aktiv’ at the upcoming 2016 Indian Auto Expo.
