Tata Motors conferred with the Indian Multinational of the Year award

Tata Motors has been conferred with the prestigious Indian Multinational of the Year award at the AIMA Managing India Awards 2013, held on April 11, 2013, in New Delhi. On behalf of the company, Mr. Karl Slym, Managing Director, Tata Motors, received the award from the President Pranab Mukherjee.

On behalf of the company, Mr. Karl Slym, Managing Director, Tata Motors, received the award from the Hon’ble President of India, Mr. Pranab Mukherjee.

Receiving the award, Mr. Slym said, “It is a great honour for me to receive this award on behalf of Tata Motors. To be recognised by this prestigious organisation as Indian Multinational of the year, rewards the efforts in this very important area for Domestic companies, embracing the responsibility to take India global. We have unique strengths and competitive advantages from operating in the Indian environment and from the local employees entrepreneurial culture. It is important that we use this to play to win on the global stage.”

AIMA established the Managing India Awards to promote management teams in every sphere of life involving varied fields, which reflect the state of advanced development in an economy. This award aims to recognize the contributions of stalwarts who have set benchmarks of excellence in their respective spheres. An esteemed panel of jury, chaired by Mr. Sanjiv Goenka, Past President, AIMA and Chairman, RP- Sanjiv Goenka Group has nominated eminent personalities as winners under different categories.
