Just weeks after the launch, when Tata Motors’ busy dispatching the Harrier to its dealerships across India as the sales processes and test drives are on full-swing, we have its first crash reported in Prabhadevi, Mumbai.
The vehicle which belongs to brand’s dealership Concorde Prabhadevi in Mumbai, and it seems to have hit a pole or something by the looks of it but we do not know the exact scenario behind the accident yet. But the temporary registration plate suggests that the unit could have been waiting on to get delivered.
This unfortunate event is not surprising as a brand-new vehicle goes through a lot of hands before its delivered to the ultimate customer.
A good learning from here is one should not take safety measures granted. We should always wear seat belts inside the car while travelling which prevent the occupants from being tossed around in the vehicle when it goes out of control.
