Suzuki has introduced the Swift Style special edition for the Japanese market. The Swift Style isn’t a facelift version of Swift, but a model that’s simply been given a dress-up job on interior, as well as exterior. There are no changes mechanically, the car comes powered by a 1.2-litre K-series petrol engine, spitting-out a maximum power of 92.5 PS and 118 Nm peak torque.
On the exterior, the Swift Style gets a twin chrome horizontal grille that replaces the honeycomb mesh grille, new 16-inch alloy wheels with special cutting and black paint accents. Furthermore, sporty rooftop-body colour theme (black on yellow Swift, white on black and blue Swift), LED turn indicators integrated into ORVMs and ‘STYLE’ badge on hatch door.
The interior gets treated to with exclusive seat upholstery, while the doors get new trim skin. The steering wheel gets audio controls and is now wrapped in leather with contrast silver stitching that extends to the gear knob as well. Furthermore, it gets a driver seat armrest, while the instrument panel and door trim ornament are done in new metal tone. The driver and front passenger seats also get a side pocket.
Unlike India-spec special editions, the Japan-spec Swift Style Special Edition comes equipped with premium UV cut glass, ORVMs with electronic control, 1-step reclining rear seat, heated front seats, automatic headlights, front fog lamps with LED illumination lamps, 7-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters and cruise control system.
