Suzuki Intruder M1800R B.O.S.S. Edition – FrontView
Japanese bike manufacturer, Suzuki Motorcycles India has silently launched the new Intruder M1800R B.O.S.S edition in India. The company comes at sixth position in the market, however, it is leading in the super sport bike market of India. Intruder is a high performance cruiser machine from Suzuki, which comes in two variants – Intruder M800 and M1800R.
Wondering what B.O.S.S is? It stands for Blacked Out Special Suzuki! That’s right; smart design changes and a paintjob that makes the Suzuki range of cruisers definite show stoppers. Don’t get excited just yet though, the B.O.S.S line for 2014 has just been introduced for the Intruder M1800R in India, the Intruder M800 is available in B.O.S.S avatars in other markets.
Compared to the regular Intruder M1800R, the B.O.S.S. Edition gets some cosmetic updates over its standard version, and the mechanical specifications of the bike remain same. The new edition gets a new Marble Daytona Yellow and Glass Sparkle Black (KGK) dual tone paint job, which makes it more impressive and sportier when compared to the standard single tone paint scheme.

The Intruder M1800R B.O.S.S. Edition has got an all black theme, which gels with its new paint job and the wheels also follow the dual tone scheme. Other changes are a streamlined headlight cover, stylish LED taillight and new attractive side stand, which will offered as a standard fitment throughout the M1800R Series.
Under the skin, the Intruder M1800R is a jam-packed performance machine with high-power 1783cc engine which produces a maximum power of 127Bhp at 6200 rpm and maximum torque of 160Nm at 3200 rpm. Bike has a liquid cooling engine with 5-speed gear transmission system. The bike has a top speed of 130kmph on the straight highways and is capable to deliver 15kmpl with enormous power generating capabilities. The Intruder M1800R B.O.S.S. Edition is priced at Rs. 16.45 lakh, which is Rs. 50,000 costlier than the standard version (ex-showroom, Delhi).
