After the launch of the much anticipated Ford Ecosport that is just days away, Ford has pre-planned to bring an updated version of Ford Endeavour to the Indian market which is expected to be launched in 2015. According to the reports from CarsGuide, Ford has recently announced that it will halt the production of cars in Australia but will continue to work on both production and concept cars for global markets.

The 2015 Ford Endeavour known as Everest in other Asian regions would be an updated seven-seat Endeavour which would begin its development next-year in Thailand. Mr. Jackson Emiris, one of the readers of CarsGuide has managed to click the next generation Ford Endeavour (Everest) which was recently spotted testing on roads. As per the images obtained the prototype is fitted with Ranger’s body shell up to the driver door while the rest of the body parts are donated by the Territory. However these body parts may not be present as the actual design of the final product which is fit for production.

Apart from this, the 2015 Ford Endeavour is expected to be powered with a 3.5-litre ‘Puma’ diesel engine which provides a maximum power of 225 Bhp at a maximum torque of 420 Nm. Ford Endeavour would be equipped with a short wheel base than the Ranger in order to ensure off-road clearance and handling, that the current-version is lagging.
