Fluence will be the first car, Renault will be launching in India as a stand-alone manufacturer. Their earlier product, Logan was manufactured under brand Mahindra Renault. But now Renault is going solo in one of the hottest auto markets in the world today.
Renault Fluence will be available in 1.5L diesel and 2.0L petrol engine choice. The company plans to bring not only the Manual Transmission also along with the 4-speed Automatic transmission options in both variants. In the European market, Renault Fluence is available in a 1.6L and 2.0L petrol and 1.5L (85, 90, 105 and 110 bhp) diesel engine choice. The diesel Fluence in India is reportedly going to get the 105 bhp diesel engine.
From the spy images we can clearly see the ABS, electronic stability control, 6 airbags, brake assist, Bluetooth, audio system, electronic stability control and emergency brake assist etc…
Passenger comfort is optimised by generous dimensions –
- 4,620mm long, 1,809mm wide, 1,479mm high and a wheelbase of 2,702mm
- 530dm3 of boot space
- Passenger space than any major rival, including 1,480mm of elbow room at the front and 1,475mm at the rear
