Earlier today, we brought you the firstever teaser image of the new TVS Apache. From the teaser, we could make out that the Apache could get a different fairing and a new headlamp. Now it is evident with firstever spy pictures, which has surfaced on Facebook and it clearly resembles that this is probably a refreshed Apache RTR 180 ABS model which disappointed me.
The Apache RTR’s are easily the best looking motorcycles from TVS, now they have just freshen-up the styling elements. Though new model doesn’t feature a monoshock suspension and a set of new alloy wheels, it comes with new footpeg geometry, clip-on handlebars, re-designed fuel tank, split seats, new switchgear, new speedometer and a new exhaust panel. From the images, the change be even noticed in the side and rear panel.
On the other hand, as we said rumours suggested it’s a 200cc or a 250cc motorcycle, fuel injected, 23-25 Ps model etc… Now it’s confirmed, it is just a mid-career makeover for its flagship Apache motorcycle range with refreshed looks, which could include an all new fairing and headlamp. The changes are not eye-catchy hence look similar to the current model, expect the front-fascia.
Coming to the mechanical change, the bike will feature the same current engine with 160cc and 180cc versions. No changes or modification will be carried on the engine. The new TVS Apache will still remain an affordable track tool at a price. The tagline for the new motorcycle is ‘New Beast. Same Bloodline’. (See more spied pictures below the jump)
