It’s been couple of years since the market-leader Honda Activa got its last refresh in January 2013 which saw the scooter getting the Honda’s trademark Honda Eco Technology (HET).
All-new 2015 Honda Activa 3G spied; launching tomorrow.
With this latest refresh, Honda has replaced the badges with a new blingy 3-D Activa badge on both the sides, just like on the new Suzuki Access launched in August-2014. Also on offer are two new exterior shades – Blue and Brown. Moreover, the slightly tweaked head- and tail-lamps make the Activa 3G look super sharp. Also note re-positioned engine air scoop on the side body panel.
Sharper looking headlamps.Mechanically, the new Activa 3G is likely to get a minor enhancement for higher fuel efficiency than the claimed 60kmpl of the outgoing version. Power and torque though are likely to remain the same as before – 110cc single-cylinder engine that produces 8bhp of power and 8.74Nm of torque with a CVT box. Expect the Honda Activa 3G to be priced slightly higher than the outgoing model.
Tweaked tail-lamps neatly integrated.
The company has set to launch a mysterious product at a press meet in Gurgaon tomorrow (4th February 2014). Earlier we were expecting Honda to launch any of the new CBR models, now it seems the company plans to spoil the party by launching refreshed version of the Activa, Honda Activa 3G.
