Kia has taken the wraps off the fourth-generation 2021 Kia Carnival (Sedona in the US markets) MPV. It will be launched on international markets in Q3 2020.
Kia refers to the new Carnival as a “Great Utility Vehicle.” It’s got a higher roof with shorter overhangs. The car features Kia’s tiger nose grate with a diamond mesh pattern and chrome inserts. Slim headlamp clusters contain rectangular LEDs and stepped daytime running LED lamps.
At the back, the latest model is fitted with an LED light bar that stretches around the width of the car and the sleek tail lamps. It retains the sliding rear doors and has a redesigned C-pill.
Kia hasn’t released any interior pictures yet. However, leaked pictures have already surfaced online. The images show a 3-stroke multi-function steering wheel and dual displays similar to the Mercedes S-Class. Captain seats in the second row and air-conditioning vents for both second and third row passengers are planned.
Kia has not revealed the powertrains that will be sold at the new Carnival. However, reports say that 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder petrol hybrid and 2.5-litre turbo petrol engine options could be available.
