India’s first ever own build sport car DC Avanti caught testing in pune, this is first ever spy shot of DC Avanti caught on camera. The images taken from rear clear’s the picture of sports car DC Avanti with covered logo, but the bold name written in the plate gives clear clue of India’s first ever sports car. DC Avanti with its very unique looks seems to look different with any others cars seen on Indian roads. Dilip Chhabria, an automobile designer and founder of DC Design, showcased this model first at Delhi auto expo months back. Designs seems to have a very good eye catching looks and can gives a tough competition to its close rivals.
DC Avanti is powered by a 2.0-liter, Ford EcoBoost 4-cylinder motor. This VVT (variable valve timing)-equipped engine churns out 240bhp at 5500rpm and 37.3kgm of torque at 3500rpm. Its engine is also Euro-V compliant and with minor tweaking can also become Euro VI compliant. The standard transmission choice is a six-speed manual unit, with a six-speed automatic on offer as an option. The Avanti gets the large 19? alloys giving a good grip on-road and it is speculated to touch a top speed of 250 kmph.
DC Avanti is expected to be priced at Rs. 25- 30 lakhs which is economical when it comes on owning a sports car. Company as plans to expand its footprint nationally by opening 16 new dealerships across country. The car as already received around 500 bookings previously and hoping to do more.
