Just yesterday we brought you guys the rendered image of the upcoming 2014 Toyota Corolla, now the firstever uncamouflaged picture of the same has hit the web today. Although Toyota won’t confirm it, the image above leaked is likely to be the 2014 Corolla. Its styling itself suggests that this is the 2014 Corolla based on the fact that it looks similar to the Furia concept.
According to the original forum poster, the pictures come from Poland, which means it is possible that this is a euro-spec car that might come to India, but the North American and Japanese model might look different. We can’t confirm that these are next-gen Corolla slated to launch in India. However, the Corolla has historically been visually different in various regions.
From the image, the changes seen are a front fascia with angular headlights, a slender grille and a sporty lower intake. We can also see a sculpted hood and bugling fenders. The sedan also has an upward sweeping shoulder line and wraparound taillights that are separated by chrome trim. The similarities with Toyota’s Corolla Furia Concept are evident in the production model.
Expect the new Corolla to make a worldwide debut before the end of the year. The car will first make it to America, will later be brought to Brazil, with a slightly different exterior treatment, and will finally be introduced to India by late-2014.
