Here are the latest spy shots of the 2012 Mercedes-Benz M-Class, this image was snapped by Team-BHP member DocTorque at the Air Cargo complex in Mumbai, using his Blackberry.
From the images front bumper looks chunkier which further added to the aggressive looks and gets newly stylized headlamps. The new M-Class gets a new face which is more aggressive than the current generation. The new SUV has grown in size and looks bigger.
The interiors will also get a treatment with a new steering design, dashboard and centre console. The SUV will be packed a host of safety and tech features in addition to the current gen M-Class. It will also features a huge panoramic sun-roof which will make the cabin come alive with fresh incident light.
Under the hood of the next-generation M-Class we expect a 3.0-liter turbo-diesel V-6 producing 240 horsepower paired to a 7 speed automatic transmission. The V-8 engine will gain direct-injection and twin-turbochargers for the AMG model, which is expected to deliver at least 570 horsepower from its 5.5-liters of displacement.
