Tata Motors showcased the adventure theme version of the Tata Zica, although the car will be launched with a new name after ending up in a controversy of sharing its name with a deadly virus “Zika”.
The personalized adventure version has all the features of the standard Zica and in addition to that, it gets LED daytime running lights, fog lights, new alloy wheels, roof rails, matte finished grille, and contrast roof, ORVMs and spoiler in piano black finish. A body kit with side skirts is also added.
The interior of the personalized Zica gets art-leather seats and signature floor carpets. A three-spoke multi-function steering wheel and a piano-black finish for the dashboard. The central console houses a ConnectNext infotainment system by Harman with 8 speakers, AUX, USB, Bluetooth connectivity. It is also equipped with safety features like dual front airbags, central locking and speed sensing auto door locks.
There is no change in the engine and the transmission system. The Zica will be offered in 2 fuel options; a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder Revotron petrol engine producing a power of 85PS and 114Nm of peak torque and a 1.0-litre Revotorq diesel engine producing a power of 70PS and 140Nm of peak torque. Both the variants at present will be offered with manual transmission option.
