The Korean car maker, Hyundai is all set to launch the facelift Hyundai i20 having sophisticated adoption of company’s new Fluidic Sculpture design along with various significant makeovers. There are rumours in the air that the all new Hyundai i20 will grace the Geneva Motor Show in the very first week of March. The new Fluidic design adds extra appeal to its look and provides ample legroom & shoulder room for the passengers. Company has not revealed any technical details of the new facelift Hyundai i20 but, it has been caught during the several testing sessions.
The stunning and light-weight alloy wheels are the expected new edition to this gizmo. The old five spoke design will be replaced by the sporty eight spoke design. The refreshing front fascia looks elegant along with the new large tail lamps, re-designed tailgate left and other designing features.
Besides, the interior is due for an update and the spy photographer has managed to snag a picture of the LHD version of the i20 revealing the first details.
It is also expected that facelift Hyundai i20 (Asta model) will come equipped with the LED lights on front bumper. Under the bonnet, there will be a powerful integration of variable valve timing, Kappa2 1.2-litre engine offering enhanced power and fuel efficiency.
The optional BlueDrive Technology (LPG kit in Hyundai lingo) is also an expected feature though, the official confirmation is required. An AT option on 1.4-litre petrol engine that has been already launched by the company delivering an impressive mileage of 23kmpl. But, in order to meet the global emission standards this engine will be replaced with a new, lower emission diesel engine.
