Tata Motors launched the Indica Vista in wayback 2008 and since the Indian car manufacturer has probably forgotten to update their bread earner for the company. 4 years after the launch, Tata Motors will give the Indica Vista a mild facelift. Thanks to our friends at OnCars, who have managed to get a spyshot of the Tata Indica Vista found testing in Pune.
But we are not sure if the car in the spy shots is a full-fledged facelift of the Indica Vista or just another special edition. Tata Motors, famous for sharing parts across their model range, seem to have gone on a borrowing from its elder brother Manza. This really does not require many efforts on the part of the company and will be launched in October, 2011.
Under the hood, we might not see too many changes as the Vista already has two good engines in the form of the 90 Bhp, 1.4 Liter SAFIRE petrol engine and the 90 Bhp, 1.3 Liter Fiat Multijet unit.. The car continues to get the odometer at the centre and may get some leather treatment on the top of the line. We hope Tata brings Elan model for the Vista too.
New features on 2011 Tata Indica Vista include –
- Double-barrel headlights
- Chrome grille
- Redesigned bumper and chrome garnished fog lights
- Black moulding below the rear windscreen
- New colour options
- New sets of Alloy wheels
