Royal Enfield has announced its new range of accessories, apparel and riding gear called the Despatch Rider collection, alongside also launched a limited edition motorcycles that will be sold in India and select international markets. These collections were unveiled during the inauguration of Royal Enfield’s new flagship store in Khan Market, New Delhi.
The limited edition motorcycles based on the Royal Enfield Classic 500 cruiser are limited to 600 units on first-come-first-serve basis; the customers can book their motorcycles starting July 15th only on store.royalenfield.com. A total of 3 different army camouflage colors will be made available – Battle Green (only be available in international markets), Squadron Blue and Desert Storm, and only 200 units will be finished in each color. Price has not been revealed.
All three motorcycles will get stealthy non-reflective paint job with a camouflage pattern and an embossed hallmark showing the particulars of its manufacture. Additionally, each Royal Enfield Despatch comes with Italian leather seats, classic leather buckle strap which will hold the air filter box, matte black paint on the engine, exhaust and silencer.
The Despatch Rider gear collection includes apparel with war time designs. Materials like leather, twill and canvas in brown, green, olive, tan and blue are paired with regimental detailing such as epaulettes, plackets and gorgets. Other accessories include shirts, t-shirts, denim trousers, belts, wallets and shoes which are crafted in pure leather.
