August as turned the month of showering new launches and discounts. On this occasion if rumors are to be believed the Volkswagen dealers are offering a massive discount of upto Rs. 75,000/- for its present VW Jetta and will launch the new Volkswagen Jetta on 17th August 2011. This new Volkswagen Jetta will replace the present model. Dealers are very keen of getting rid of the Jettas which they have stocked with them and are encouraging buyers to go for the old Jetta.
It is obvious that Volkswagen would want to clear up the existing stock of the old Volkswagen Jetta to make way for the new Volkswagen Jetta. However, the new Volkswagen Jetta will be totally improved and enhanced as compared to the present version. Thus waiting for the new model is the best option.
Refresher – The German automaker is heavily betting on the diesel model as fuel prices have been raising continuously. The all new VW Jetta in India is expected to get a 1.8 TSi and a 2.0 TDi engine. The most probable of the lot though is the 2.0 TDi diesel engine in the new Jetta will produce 140 bhp of power and 320 Nm of torque. VW might also bring in the 1.8 TSi but even if they launch this, it won’t be a hot seller as the diesel variant.
