Apart from the launch, Rolls Royce begun its multi-city tour of India commenced from New Delhi, which is three months long. The Wraith is a car that has luxury, power and legacy, all rolled into one.

With the Wraith, Rolls Royce has resurrected a nearly 80-year-old nameplate and is now the brand’s sportiest offering in the ultra-luxury car market. It was unveiled among the audiences during Geneva Motor Show during March-2013. Now within the short span of four months after its unveiled company has launched the most powerful Rolls Royce in Indian car market.

Rolls-Royce insists that the Wraith is not simply a coupe version of the Ghost, though it is clearly based on that model and they share plenty of common parts. It has a completely different character and is the company’s boldest and most dramatic vehicle. The dual-tone paint job makes the vehicle a very unique character which makes it look fast even while standing still.

Interiors are seen in Phantom grade leather with extensive wooden paneling on coach doors while a starlight headliner is being offered for the first time in any other RR (except the Phantom), which features 1340 small lamps that are hand woven into Wraith’s roof. The cabin is optimized to seat 4 adults in a 2+2 layout. A host of safety technologies that include night vision cameras work in tandem to ensure a high degree of safety.

Under the hood, the Wraith gets a 6.6-litre twin turbo V-12 petrol engine that is capable of churning the power of 624 bhp and 800 Nm torque. The power of engine can assumed from the fact that within the span of 4.6 seconds Wraith captures the speed of 100 kph, and this from a vehicle which weighs nearly 2.4 tonnes. The major activator behind this powerful pick up is ZF-8 speed automatic gear box which speeds up the rear wheels of Wraith.

Rolls Royce Wraith will land in India through Completely Built Unit (CBU) route built at its single manufacturing facility at Goodwood, England. Delivery time for the Wraith stretches up to 4 months. Rolls-Royce offers 4-year unlimited kms warranty (doesn’t include tyres and glass) on all its new cars.
