The upcoming Renault Kiger sub-4 meter SUV is one of several new models that French car maker is working on for sometime now, and the company aims to introduce a range of compact cars in all segments stuffed with many segment-first features and a razor sharp design. These latest spyshots give us our best look yet at the upcoming compact SUV, including some of its interior.
The front fascia of the upcoming Renault Kiger sub-4 meter SUV was spied almost completely undisguised. The Renault Kiger comes equipped with a V-shaped grille with slim daytime LED lights on both side and a triple-pod headlamp placed lower down on the front bumper. The grille has silver inserts.
As with the spy picture on the inside, the Renault Kiger is likely to have all-black interiors with a floating touchscreen infotainment head panel. It has a 3-stroke multi-function steering wheel similar to the Triber and a digital instrument cluster. This specific test car appears to be an automatic version and also appears to have automatic climate control as well as an engine start / stop button.
The Renault Kiger will be based on the platform CMF-A+. It can be powered by a 1.0-litre turbocharged engine coupled with either a manual or an automatic manual transmission (AMT). It will go on-sale in the second half of this-year.
